Discovery Gardens Parking Fees Cut: Residents to Pay Less from April 15

Updated parking plans in Discovery Gardens now offer lower rates after residents raised concerns earlier this year.

Residents in Discovery Gardens are finally seeing some relief when it comes to parking costs. Starting April 15, 2026, Discovery Gardens parking rates have been reduced, following feedback from the community about the earlier pricing.

The update was shared by Dubai Holding Community Management and comes just a few months after paid parking was introduced in the area.

Parking just got more affordable in Discovery Gardens

If parking costs felt a bit steep before, this update should make things easier. The revised plans are noticeably lower, especially for those opting for monthly or quarterly subscriptions.

Here’s how the new pricing looks:

  • Monthly: AED 672 (down from AED 945)
  • Quarterly: AED 1,999 (down from AED 2,625)
  • Six months: AED 3,999
  • Annual: AED 4,999

All prices include VAT, so what you see is what you pay.

For residents who rely on daily parking, the difference is quite significant over time.

impact on the everyday life of residents

In a community like Discovery Gardens, where many households have more than one car, parking isn’t just a convenience — it’s part of daily life.

Each apartment still comes with one free parking permit, which covers a single vehicle. But if there’s a second or third car in the household, a paid subscription is required.

With the new rates, residents can now manage those extra costs a bit better. Whether it’s families, flatmates, or tenants sharing a space, the revised pricing feels more practical.

Don’t forget to register your car

To actually benefit from these rates, residents need to register their vehicles through the PARKONIC+ app.

This step is important. Without registration, vehicles may be treated as visitors and charged accordingly, which can add up quickly.

Community management has also asked landlords to pass on this information to tenants, so no one misses out or ends up paying unnecessary fines.

A quick rewind: why parking became paid

Earlier this year, Discovery Gardens introduced paid on-street parking as part of a broader move across Dubai to organise residential areas better.

The idea was simple:

  • Reduce random parking
  • Improve space availability
  • Keep things more structured

But while the system made sense, the pricing didn’t sit well with many residents at first. This latest revision shows that those concerns have been taken seriously.

A small change that makes a big difference

In a city like Dubai, where community living is constantly evolving, these small adjustments can have a real impact on daily life.

Lower parking costs may seem like a minor update, but for residents dealing with monthly expenses, it adds up. More importantly, it shows a shift towards listening and responding to community feedback.

The revised Discovery Gardens parking rates come as a welcome change for residents who’ve been adjusting to the new system this year. With lower prices and flexible plans, parking is now a bit easier to manage.

Residents are encouraged to review the updated options and register their vehicles to make the most of the new rates.
