Babil Khan In Now-Deleted Post Slams Sai Rajesh, says “I Slit My F*cking Wrist For You”

Bollywood may be glitzy on the outside, but on the inside? It’s giving full-blown emotional reality TV sometimes. Recently, Babil Khan, the talented son of the late acting legend Irrfan Khan, found himself in the middle of a social media storm, all thanks to a late-night or early morning Instagram breakdown that spiralled faster than any news. FYI, some major names like Ananya Panday, Sidharth Chaturvedi, Arjun Kapoor, and Raghav Juyal were also dropped.

Babil Khan Has An Emotional Breakdown: Tears, Rants & Exposing the Industry

Babil posted a string of emotional videos where he cracked open the dark side of showbiz – the pressure, the burnout, the loneliness. And while venting, he casually name-checked a few celeb buddies who’ve been, according to him, “doing meaningful work” in Bollywood. But things escalated quicker, and soon netizens were speculating everything from substance influence to PR stunts.

Then started mass confusion, headlines galore, and Babil deleting his Instagram account. But plot twist: he was back in no time, ready to set the record straight.

Ananya Panday, Sidharth Chatruvedi, Raghav Juyal and others took to their Instagram stories and showed him the love and admiration they have for him.

Babil Gets Into A Clash With Sai Rajesh?

While the internet was still reeling from the emotional stories, filmmaker Sai Rajesh wasn’t buying the sympathy wave. Known for directing Baby and casting Babil in its remake, he chose not to stay silent. Instead of sharing support, he posted a lengthy Instagram story calling out Babil and his team. He accused them of playing the ‘sympathy’ card and ignoring the rest of the crew. His main demand? An apology for being ghosted in the gratitude section.

And then came Babil’s counterattack. It was raw. In a now-deleted comment, he poured his heart out. He claimed he sacrificed two whole years, transformed his body, soul, sanity – even lived with bugs in his beard (yes, really) to do justice to the role Sai gave him.

Then, the comment that sent jaws crashing to the floor: “I slit my f*cking wrist for you.” A line so heavy, it shook the digital realm. But before the internet could even catch its breath, poof, Babil deleted his comments, and Sai Rajesh removed his post too. Classic damage control.

Family Steps In….

With the drama heating up, Babil’s family and team finally broke their silence. In a carefully worded statement, they said the video was wildly misunderstood and just showcased a raw, honest moment from a 20-something navigating fame, grief, and expectations. According to them, “Like anyone else, Babil is allowed to have difficult days — and this was one of them. We want to reassure all his well-wishers that he is safe and will be feeling better soon…That said, a video of Babil has been widely misinterpreted and taken out of context. In the clip, Babil was sincerely acknowledging a few of his peers whom he believes are making meaningful contributions to the evolving landscape of Indian cinema.”

One emotional vent and suddenly you’re trending with hashtags, fighting off trolls, and explaining bugs in your beard. While Babil Khan’s emotional unfiltered moment opened up a whole new conversation about mental health in showbiz, it also showed how easily things get twisted in this fame game
