Get ready for some major thrills and chills! Actor Ananya Panday is teaming up with filmmaker extraordinaire, Vikramaditya Motwane, for a pulse-pounding cyber-thriller movie. The yet-to-be-titled project will be produced by actor-producer Nikhil Dwivedi’s Saffron banner, according to a recent press release.
Motwane, the mastermind behind critically acclaimed films such as Udaan, Lootera, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, and AK vs. AK, promises that this new movie will have a modern twist that is oh-so-relevant to our times. He enthused, “It’s going to be really interesting to see Ananya Panday in this role since it’s something she hasn’t attempted before.”
Ananya, who counts filmmaker Anurag Kashyap as a close friend, was more than eager to sign on for the project. She gushed, “When Vikramaditya Motwane approached me with this story, I just knew I had to be part of it. As a filmmaker, he has been on my wish list for as long as I can remember and I feel really lucky to be working with him this early in my career.”
Nikhil Dwivedi was equally impressed by the script and was quick to hop on board as producer. He shared, “It was one of the most interesting materials I had laid my hands on in recent times and I decided within a few hours to participate in this.” And we can see why – Ananya is a rising star in the industry and the combination of her talent and Motwane’s mastery is sure to result in something truly special.
The cyber-thriller has already begun production and will be shot in a seamless schedule. With Ananya’s recent appearance in the blockbuster hit “Liger” (2022) opposite Vijay Deverakonda, and her upcoming projects “Kho Gaye Hum Kahan” and “Dream Girl 2”, she’s definitely an actress to watch. Meanwhile, Motwane has his Amazon Prime series “Jubilee” on deck, set to stream later this year. Get ready for a ride like no other!
