Ahead of her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone which is high on action, Alia Bhatt is said to star in another action film. It’s time for her to be a part of the YRF spy universe.
Alia Bhatt to enter YRF spy universe
With the expanding spy universe, it’s time for it to make a female-centric spy film. Pinkvilla reported that Aditya Chopra is now preparing to create a high-budget action spectacle featuring Alia Bhatt in the role of a female spy. A source close to the development stated, “Alia Bhatt is one of the biggest crowd pullers in today’s time and she will be playing a super-agent in the YRF Spy Universe like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Shah Rukh Khan. Aditya Chopra and the team have planned an epic female-led spy film with Alia Bhatt which is expected to push her to the edge.”
Keeping in mind we know that Alia has already learnt some action and got the experience from her upcoming movie Heart Of Stone. Further adding the source said, “Alia’s inclusion to the Spy Universe indicates that Aditya Chopra is leaving no audience segment out of the equation. She will be playing a spy in an out-and-out action entertainer, and this will be a big novelty for the audience base that she appeals to. It’s going to be Alia Bhatt like never before.”
Looks like there’s no stopping for the actress, she might also have a bunch of series just revolving around her. The source further adds, “Aditya Chopra is very bullish about Alia and has big plans for her character arc in his universe. He is looking to start a franchise within the Spy Universe centred around Alia’s character and he will pull all stops to mount the yet untitled film on a scale that none can imagine.”
About YRF spy universe
Scheduled to commence filming in 2024, the upcoming film remains untitled and is currently in the development and pre-production phase. Positioned as the eighth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, the film follows the successful lineage of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan. Upcoming it has Tiger 3, War 2, and Tiger vs Pathaan. While the highly anticipated Tiger 3, featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is set to release this Diwali, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr., and Kiara Advani, will begin production in November. Moreover, the epic clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan is also poised to commence filming next year, promising an exciting showdown between the two mega-stars.

On the work front, the actress is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Ranveer Singh. The movie is directed by Karan Johar. Apart from this, she will be next seen in Netflix’s Heart Of Stone which marks her Hollywood debut. The movie will premiere on Netflix on August 11.
