Etihad Launches Flash Sale with Up to 50% Off Flights

Etihad Guest members can book discounted flights to new destinations with up to 50% off fares until 2 September

Etihad Airways has rolled out its largest-ever GuestSeat flash sale, offering loyalty programme members discounts of up to 50 per cent on Economy fares and 30 per cent on Business and First Class. The sale is open until Tuesday, 2 September 2025, giving travellers in the UAE just a short window to lock in these offers.

For residents in Dubai, the promotion is made even more convenient thanks to Etihad’s free shuttle service from Al Wasl Centre, behind Safestway Supermarket, directly connecting passengers to Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.

Big savings on premium travel

The sale applies to flights booked between 31 August and 2 September and is valid for travel until 15 December 2025. With over 25,000 discounted seats available, Etihad is encouraging members to move quickly as demand is expected to be high.

  • Up to 50% off Economy GuestSeats
  • 30% off Business and First Class GuestSeats
  • Fares starting from 6,500 miles one-way

Joining the Etihad Guest programme is free and only requires a few personal details. Once registered, members can access this sale and future exclusive offers.

Exciting destinations on sale

Etihad has been expanding its global network throughout 2025, with new routes across Asia, Africa, and North Africa. Travellers can redeem discounted seats on several of these destinations, including:

  • Addis Ababa
  • Algiers
  • Chiang Mai
  • Hanoi
  • Hong Kong
  • Krabi
  • Medan (Sumatra)
  • Peshawar
  • Phnom Penh
  • Tunis

For example, members can book Economy to Hong Kong for just 15,000 miles, relax in Business Class to Phnom Penh from 49,000 miles, or try the airline’s new First Suites on the Krabi route starting from 84,000 miles.

How to book and redeem miles

GuestSeats are exclusive reward fares available only to Etihad Guest members. They can be booked using:

  • Miles only
  • A mix of miles and cash
  • Transferred miles from more than 50 partner programmes

Travellers can confirm their booking through the Etihad website or mobile app. With limited seats available, it’s advisable to finalise travel plans quickly.

A convenient option for Dubai residents

For passengers based in Dubai, the complimentary shuttle service to Abu Dhabi makes Etihad’s network expansion more accessible. This means flying to destinations like Tunis, Hong Kong, or Krabi can be done with ease, without the need to worry about transportation between the two cities.

With the growing demand for leisure travel, the flash sale presents an opportunity for UAE residents to secure seats at lower redemption rates, whether for short cultural trips or long-haul holidays.

Etihad’s GuestSeat flash sale is only available for three days, with travel dates extending until mid-December. Seats are limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis, making it a time-sensitive opportunity for UAE travellers looking to save on their next trip.
