As families across the UAE prepare to celebrate Eid Al Adha 2025, Dubai has announced a range of adjustments to ensure residents can enjoy the holidays with ease and comfort. The emirate is enhancing services—from longer park hours to free public parking and modern abattoirs—to embrace the occasion’s spirit.
Longer Hours for Parks and Leisure Spots
To cater to the festive mood, Dubai Municipality has extended operating hours for public parks, major recreational facilities, and popular family destinations throughout the city. These changes apply during the official Eid holidays from June 5 to June 8, 2025.
Here are the updated timings:
- Residential Parks and Green Squares: Open daily from 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight
- Sports Walkways: Open from Fajr prayer onwards
- Major Parks (Zabeel, Creek Park, Al Mamzar, Al Safa, Mushrif Park): Operate from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Mushrif Park Mountain Bike Track and Walking Trail: Open between 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Quranic Park: Welcomes visitors from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Cave of Miracles and Glass House open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Dubai Frame: Open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Children’s City: Open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays and from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays
These timings ensure families, children, and individuals have ample time to explore Dubai’s green spaces and cultural venues in cooler morning and evening hours.
Fully Equipped Abattoirs Open Daily
In preparation for one of Eid Al Adha’s most significant traditions, Dubai has also ensured that all official abattoirs are ready and operational. Four designated abattoirs — Al Qusais, Al Quoz, Al Lisaili, and Hatta — will be fully functional and open to the public.
- Operating Hours: Daily from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM during the Eid holidays
- Safety and Hygiene: Facilities will include veterinary teams, trained butchers, and strict hygiene protocols
- Smart Options: Residents are encouraged to use municipality-approved smart apps to book services or opt for home delivery of meat
With up to 80,000 animals expected, authorities are also regulating livestock markets and discouraging unauthorised private slaughtering to maintain public health and order.
Free Public Parking and Adjusted Transport Services
To support the festive rush, Dubai’s transport authority is easing movement around the city.
- Free Public Parking: Available from June 5 to June 8, excluding multi-level car parks
- Dubai Metro: Red and Green Lines will run from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Dubai Tram: Operates from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Public Buses: Revised schedules will be in effect; commuters are advised to check official apps for updates
These services help families easily access parks, attractions, and shopping areas, making Eid celebrations more enjoyable.
Plan Ahead and Enjoy Dubai This Eid
With these extended services and upgraded facilities, Dubai ensures its residents can celebrate Eid Al Adha 2025 in comfort and style. Whether it’s a morning walk in the park, a scenic visit to the Dubai Frame, or ensuring your sacrifices are handled professionally, the city has you covered.
