You Can Soon Plan A Staycation At A Safari Resort In Sharjah

UAE is home to tons of resorts, hotels and glamping spots, and all of them offer a unique experience. And if you love exploring different staycation options in the UAE, Sharjah is getting two new luxury resorts by the end of 2023, and you have to add them to your list. Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has unveiled the deets of the upcoming resorts, and here’s everything you must know.

LUX Resorts will be a five-star hospitality offering from Shurooq. It will occupy 784 hectares of the Sharjah Safari project, which is also the largest wildlife safari in the world outside Africa. LUX Al Bridi Resort will offer 35 luxury private tents, and here you can enjoy the Big Five of Africa – the rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion, and leopard – in a natural desert setting.

The tent will scream luxury and will be equipped with all the luxurious amenities like a gym, spa and swimming pool. The resort is being developed keeping sustainability and the environment in mind; hence it will provide you with the best natural experiences in the UAE. The reserve will also feature the world’s largest collection of African herbivores, including some 45 sub-species of antelope.

And if you thought that’s it, you must know that the second resort- LUX Al Jabal Resort, will be nestled on the sloped of Al Soueifa mountain and offer a stunning view of the Arabia Sea. Being eco-friendly, it will have 45 cube-shaped hotel units and will be made with natural materials in a temperature-controlled environment. Phase 1 of the resort will have 20 one-bedroom standard cabins, 20 one-bedroom luxury cabins and five two-bedroom cabins. And phase 2 will include a clubhouse, a restaurant, a spa, a wellness centre and a kids club.
