You can now explore hatta in a cool Hop-on-and-off Bus for AED 2 per stop

Planning to visit Hatta soon? Well, then you’ll be able to explore the area around in a cool, new hop-on-hop-off bus service. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a hop-on-hop-off bus service to visit Hatta. Read on for all the deets.

The bus will be available from 7AM to 9PM for just AED2 per stop. The new service will be available only in Hatta, letting visitors get up-close-and-personal with the Hajjar mountains. The route begins and ends at the Hatta bus terminal.

Besides, the service will take you through four tourist attractions along the route: Hatta Wadi Hub, Hatta Hill Park, Hatta Dam, and the Heritage Village.

The service will run every 30 minutes at a fare of AED2 per rider, per stop, so if a visitor wants to visit all four landmarks, the total cost will be less than AED10.

“Operating these two vital routes aims to support the public transport services between the city and Hatta and within the neighbourhood of this growing area, which is witnessing a significant growth in the number of domestic and overseas tourists and visitors, especially in these days where tourism is peaking in the UAE in general and Dubai in particular, with the launch of Hatta.. the Highlands of Dubai with supports World’s Coolest Winter and Dubai Destinations initiatives ” said Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Business Development, Public Transport Agency, RTA, at the time of the announcement.

RTA also offers a Hatta express service for those traveling from Dubai to Hatta. The service begins at the Dubai Mall station and takes about two hours to reach the Hatta bus stop. The deluxe coaches are available for AED 25 per rider, per journey.

List Of All The Upcoming Hatta Projects

1. Hatta Beach
The project aims to transform Hatta Beach into a year-round tourist destination with a range of leisure facilities, services, and pursuits.

2. Hatta Waterfalls
The announcement also mentions the construction of a waterfall close to the Hatta Dam. One of the most well-liked tourist destinations in the city is Hatta Dam, where people can go kayaking, hiking, biking, or camping.

3. Cable Car
In the upcoming stage of the development project, a 5.4 km cable car will also be installed at the Hatta Dam site. Visitors can ride the cable car from the dam to the peak of Umm Al Nusour, which is the highest point in Dubai.

4. Mountain tramway
A mountain tramway is being considered to increase access to Hatta Dam.

5. Hatta Dam’s public transportation station
To ensure the safe transportation of tourists to the area, a stand will also be built at the Hatta Dam.
