Wynn Marina is coming to Ras Al Khaimah
Wynn Al Marjan Island has unveiled Wynn Marina, a 98-berth marina that will accommodate superyachts and megayachts measuring up to 85 metres. The facility is being developed as the waterfront gateway to the resort in Ras Al Khaimah.
According to Wynn, the marina will be ready as part of the resort’s planned September 2027 opening. It will sit alongside the resort’s restaurants, promenades and waterfront residences, giving visitors views of yachts arriving and departing across the Arabian Gulf.
The announcement adds another major element to one of Ras Al Khaimah’s largest hospitality developments.
What will Wynn Marina offer?
The marina will feature a circular harbour with berths arranged in a radial pattern inside a protected basin. Wynn says the basin will reach a depth of up to five metres.
The design is intended to make the marina visible from several parts of the resort, including guest rooms, terraces, restaurants and promenades.
Wynn also says the facility will have capacity for more yachts and larger vessels than any hotel-attached marina currently operating in the UAE. This is a claim made by Wynn and should be viewed in that context.
Marina Solutions International (MSI) is designing the marina, while IGY Marinas will operate it as Wynn’s marina partner.
The marina is not being planned simply as a place for yacht owners to dock. Wynn describes it as an integrated part of the wider resort experience.

How will yacht arrivals work?
A dedicated building known as the Capitainerie will serve as the marina’s arrival point and operational hub.
The facility will bring together marina management, guest services, concierge assistance and services for yacht captains and crew.
Yacht guests will be able to complete check-in onboard before moving into the resort. They will also have access to the wider hospitality offering, including accommodation, restaurants, entertainment, wellness and retail.
Services such as restaurant reservations, transportation, provisioning and arrangements for onboard celebrations will also be available.
This setup could make the marina particularly relevant to luxury yacht owners and charter guests looking for a resort stay rather than a standalone marina stop.
Is Wynn Marina only for yacht owners?
Not necessarily.
Wynn says the marina is being designed as a waterfront leisure destination for resort guests as well. Plans include dining beside the harbour and promenades overlooking the yachts.
The waterfront will also connect with the resort’s Marina and Ocean Estates, adding another layer to the development’s residential and hospitality offering.
Wynn says the marina waterfront can also be used for special occasions, including yacht arrivals for weddings and other celebrations.
However, the company has not confirmed a general public-access or visitor ticketing policy for the marina. Its exact access arrangements are therefore likely to become clearer closer to the resort opening.
How does the marina fit into Wynn Al Marjan Island?
Wynn Marina is only one part of the much larger Wynn Al Marjan Island project.
The resort is planned to feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theatre, beach club, five-star spa and shopping promenade.
The development has also been expanding its waterfront offering. In August 2026, Wynn revealed its completed 550-metre beachfront, along with a sheltered lagoon and a 319-metre offshore reef.
The resort has also reached major construction milestones. Wynn reported structural topping out of the 70-storey resort tower in December 2025, with all 1,530 guest accommodations having reached structural completion at the time.
Another key infrastructure project is the 548-metre Marjan Bay Bridge, which is being developed to improve access to the island and connect it through Marjan Avenue towards major road networks.
Wynn’s estimated construction cost has risen to around $5.7 billion, following a $600 million increase announced in 2026.
Why is Wynn Marina important for Ras Al Khaimah?
The marina arrives as Ras Al Khaimah continues to build its reputation as a luxury tourism destination.
The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority reported that the emirate welcomed more than 670,000 visitors in the first half of 2026, its strongest first-half performance on record. The authority is targeting more than 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030.
Marine tourism is also becoming part of the emirate’s wider connectivity plans. RAKTDA said Ras Al Khaimah’s transport authority is working with Dubai’s maritime authority to make yacht movement between the two emirates easier.
Against that backdrop, a large marina attached to a major luxury resort could add another reason for high-value travellers and yacht guests to include Ras Al Khaimah in their UAE itineraries.
For UAE residents, Wynn Marina is another sign of how quickly Ras Al Khaimah’s waterfront is changing.
The development could benefit the emirate’s hospitality, dining, marine tourism and events sectors while giving luxury travellers another way to experience Al Marjan Island.
The immediate change is not an opening for yacht visitors yet. Construction is still underway, with the marina forming part of the wider Wynn Al Marjan Island development.
The next major milestone will be the resort’s planned September 2027 opening, when the marina, hotel and wider entertainment and leisure facilities are expected to come together.
