Once again, it’s that time of year when cricket mania is at its height. The IPL has already started, and anticipation for the IPL prize winner is also high. For those who don’t know, Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Shanaya Kapoor graced their presence at Eden Gardens in Kolkata for the KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) VS RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) match. Shah Rukh took some time off his tight schedule to attend his team’s first match at Eden Gardens after three years.
The match may have been exhilarating, but it was the post-game events that truly captivated the crowd. Bollywood’s King and KKR owner, Shah Rukh Khan, and one of the best players in cricket right now, Virat Kohli, became the centre of attention as they shared a hug on the field. Not content with just that, SRK wasted no time and taught Virat his signature hook-step from the song “Jhoome Jo Pathaan”. It was an unforgettable moment that left fans of both Bollywood and cricket alike overjoyed.

As for the match itself, the RCB’s batting line-up struggled to keep up with the high-pressure situation. Despite Kohli’s presence, the team stumbled and ultimately fell short, with a final score of 123 all out in 17.4 overs while chasing a target of 205 runs. Faf du Plessis managed to provide some resistance with 23 runs off 12 balls, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy proved to be a formidable force, picking up an impressive 4/15 with the ball, while ‘Impact Player’ Suyash Sharma claimed 3/30.
However, the real hero of the game was KKR’s all-rounder, Shardul Thakur. With the home team struggling at 89 for 5 in the 12th over of the innings, Thakur stepped up to the plate and delivered a stunning performance. His 68 runs off just 29 balls not only lifted the team’s spirits but also secured them a well-deserved victory.
On Shah Rukh Khan’s work front

In addition, he has also teamed up with the renowned director Rajkumar Hirani for his highly-anticipated project ‘Dunki,’ where he will be sharing the screen with the incredibly talented Taapsee Pannu.
