Sheikh Zayed Festival Dates Announced, The Cultural Event To Start On November 17

UAE may be known for several events and festivals; however, if there’s one festival we all look forward to is Sheikh Zayed Festival. Taking place in Abu Dhabi every year, Sheikh Zayed Festival grandly celebrates Emirati heritage and culture. In Fact, the 2022 festival broke four Guinness World Records with the largest fireworks display and drone show. And now, the dates for the Sheikh Zayed Festival 2023 are out. The festival will run from Friday, November 17, 2023, to Saturday, March 9, 2024. Read on for all the deets.

Sheikh Zayed Festival To Promote Emirati Culture & Heritage

Under the patronage of the President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the direction of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Zayed Festival will run for four months from November. In terms of location, it will take place in Al Wathba, and you can look forward to tons of new activities, events and impressive fireworks displays.

In terms of what to expect, no information is provided on the shows and events; however, keeping the last year in mind, we are sure visitors will be in for a treat. In 2022, there were fun motocross, car drifting, drone shows, Fun Fair City, Selfie Street and more. And this year’s festival promises a grand line-up of cultural, entertainment, social and sports events.

Sheikh Zayed Festival Will Begin On November 17th

Named after the late Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Sheikh Zayed festival attracts thousands of visitors. It offers fun-filled, family-friendly events that celebrate Emirati culture and heritage. In fact, even for the 2023 edition, the committee is intensifying its preparations and while all the details are not out, one thing is clear, the festival will continue to focus on promoting the message of national heritage, affirming the depth of the Emirati civilisation and carrying it through to future generations.
