Sharjah Authorities Announce Free Internet Services On Intercity Buses

Are you planning to visit Sharjah using public transport for a roundtrip journey? If yes, then we have a piece of news for you. Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has launched free internet service on intercity buses. Yep, you can enjoy the journey, scroll and use the relevant travel information while travelling in the buses. Free internet service is available on intercity buses from Dubai to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Read on to know more.

Residents Can Use The Free Internet Service At Sharjah’s Bus Station & Intercity Buses

The internet service can be used on laptops, tablets and smartphones, and you can easily get some work while commuting between the cities in the UAE. In terms of these buses, they operate on daily trips on 15 main routes. In fact, like Dubai’s NOL card, Sharjah uses Sayer and Mowasalat cards for easy payment options- so if you travel between Sharjah and Dubai quite frequently for work, studies or otherwise, using these cards will definitely help you save big bucks.

Besides buses, commuters can also enjoy free WiFi service at Sharjah’s bus station. Residents waiting for their bus can use the wifi service by connecting their device to the open WiFi network. It’s free of cost, and one doesn’t need to create usernames or passwords or even give their e-mail and mobile phone numbers to use the WiFi.
