If you thought Dubai is the only emirate which welcomes millions of visitors, you maybe wrong. In a recent Twitter post, Sharjah airport revealed that it welcomed more than 3.8 million passengers in the first quarter of 2023. This is a 28.01 per cent increase from its 2022 numbers. That’s not all! The airport is expecting to receive even higher growth rates by the year end due to its services for passengers.

Aviation website Skytrax has unveiled its list of the world’s best airports in 2023 and Dubai bagged the 17th position. The World Airport Awards from Skytrax are among the most prestigious in the airport sector. The annual ranking is based on the experiences travelers have at the airport. Visitors are asked to rate various aspects of their journeys, ranging from check-in services to airport facilities.
