Qatar Airways Expands Services to North and South America

The airline boosts its services to meet growing demand, with new schedules starting in June

Qatar Airways is set to increase its flight frequency to Toronto, Canada, and São Paulo, Brazil, as part of its expanded summer schedule for 2025. The decision comes in response to growing demand for travel to North and South America, reflecting the airline’s commitment to enhancing global connectivity.

The updated schedule, which begins in June 2025, will see more flights departing from Hamad International Airport to Toronto Pearson Airport and São Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport. This move aims to provide passengers with more options and greater flexibility for their travel plans.

Increased Flights to Toronto

Starting June 19, 2025, Qatar Airways will operate five weekly flights to Toronto Pearson Airport. The new schedule is designed to accommodate peak summer travel demand, offering better access to one of Canada’s largest cities.

Summer Schedule (Effective June 19, 2025):

  • Flight QR767: Departs at 8:10 AM, arrives at 3:00 PM
  • Flight QR768: Departs at 9:00 PM, arrives at 4:40 PM

The addition of more frequent flights reflects Qatar Airways’ focus on expanding its presence in North America. Toronto, being a major business and tourism hub, is expected to benefit from enhanced connectivity, enabling smoother travel for both leisure and business travelers.

Boosted Connectivity to São Paulo

Qatar Airways is also ramping up its services to São Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport. Beginning June 25, 2025, the airline will expand to 17 weekly flights to the Brazilian city, boosting capacity.

Qatar Airways’ partnership with LATAM Airlines further enhances connectivity, allowing seamless travel to 55 destinations across Latin America, including Buenos Aires, Lima, and Rio de Janeiro.
