But now, another GCC country is also gearing up to launch a record-breaking attraction. Yep, you read that right! UAE’s neighbouring country- Oman, is all set to launch the world’s longest zip line over water. Read on to know more.

In a bid to boost tourism, Oman is opening Oman Adventure Centre on April 26 Wednesday in the Musandam Governorate to boost tourism in the country. The adventure centre will launch tons of activities over time, but for now, visitors can visit the centre and take advantage of the world’s longest zipline over water in Oman. The dual zipline spans over 1,800 metres and is managed and operated by LEOS – a specialist operator for adventure and entertainment projects regionally and internationally.
In fact, to attract more tourists, the Oman government is investing in various areas to develop and build the tourism sector. Hiking and mountain biking trails are also being developed in the Musandam governorate, along with the installation of informational and guiding signboards, meeting all the safety standards.

So if you are visiting Oman soon or if you are from the sultanate, head to the Oman Adventure Centre and enjoy the world’s longest zipline from 26th April between 9 AM to 4 PM during the weekdays, weekends and official holidays.
