If you’ve ever imagined what it would be like to witness Michael Jackson live on stage, this September might be your chance to get as close as it gets. Michael Lives Forever, a full-scale tribute to the King of Pop, is heading to Dubai Opera on Saturday, 7 September, promising fans in the UAE a concert experience that’s as close to MJ himself as possible.
Fronted by internationally acclaimed performer Rodrigo Teaser, the show captures the voice, look, and energy of Michael Jackson with stunning accuracy. But this isn’t just about impersonation—this is a full-blown musical journey through MJ’s legendary catalogue.
A Show That Celebrates a Legacy
There are tribute acts, and then there’s Michael Lives Forever. The production is nothing short of theatrical, combining intricate choreography, high production values, and a live band to bring Jackson’s music back to life in real time.
Expect to hear all-time favourites like “Billie Jean,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Thriller,” “Beat It,” and “Black or White” – all performed with the flair and showmanship MJ was known for. Whether you’ve followed the act for years or just love a great live show, you’ll be on your feet this unforgettable night.
Rodrigo Teaser: More Than a Tribute Artist
Rodrigo Teaser isn’t just mimicking Jackson—he’s built a global reputation as one of the most credible Michael Jackson performers in the world. Teaser has been officially recognised by Sony Music for his work and has shared the stage with Jennifer Batten, MJ’s original guitarist.
What sets him apart even more is his creative collaboration with Lavelle Smith Jr., Michael’s former choreographer, who now directs the show. With these connections, Michael Lives Forever doesn’t just resemble an MJ concert—it feels like one.
