According to reports floating on the internet, the couple is allegedly calling it quits, citing constant clashes and lifestyle differences. The real shocker? A 30-year-old Marathi actress is rumoured to be at the centre of this storm! Whispers of Govinda’s alleged closeness with this actress have added major fuel to the divorce fire. Sunita has reportedly sent a legal separation notice.
Govinda Finally Reacts! Here’s What He Said
As the internet continues to explode with speculation, Govinda has finally spoken up! When asked about the divorce rumors, the actor brushed them off with a rather cryptic response: “These are only business talks going…I am in the process of starting my films.”
That’s it? No denial? No clarification? Just a casual comment about work while the internet is convinced his marriage is ending? Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, also tried to clear the air. He stated, “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members from the family. There is nothing more to it and Govinda is in process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it.”
While Shashi did acknowledge Sunita’s legal notice, he also claimed that Govinda hasn’t even received it yet! Now, that’s some next-level confusion!
Shashi told IANS, “Right now, the news is being spread all over the place. So we are keeping an eye on it. Yes, she has sent a legal notice in the court. I am aware of that. But there is no concrete matter as to what it is. The legal notice hasn’t yet reached us”.
Govinda & Sunita’s Love Story
Govinda and Sunita’s love story has been nothing short of iconic. The two met in the ‘80s through family, and despite Govinda’s rising stardom, they secretly tied the knot in 1987. Their relationship remained a mystery for four long years, only to be revealed later.
They’ve stood the test of time, raised a family, and built a life together. So, if these divorce rumors are true, it’s truly the end of an era.
