Global Village Dubai Season 29 Ends on May 11

Global Village, one of Dubai’s most popular seasonal destinations, has announced that Season 29 will officially end on Sunday, May 11, 2025. With just a few weeks remaining, visitors have a limited window to enjoy the cultural attractions, live entertainment, and street food offerings before the park closes for the summer break.

The outdoor venue brings together countries worldwide with themed pavilions, shopping, performances, and cuisine. This year’s season has seen new additions, returning favourites, and a special lineup of tribute concerts to celebrate the closing month.

A Season Full of Culture and Celebration

Throughout Season 29, Global Village has continued to serve as a multicultural hub, featuring pavilions that represent over 90 cultures. Guests have been able to explore handmade crafts, traditional clothing, and global cuisines—all within a single evening.

From Middle Eastern delicacies to Asian street snacks, the food scene has remained a major attraction. The retail offerings, with products from Africa, Europe, and the Americas, have also added to the venue’s international appeal.

The park has also enhanced the guest experience with smoother navigation, improved facilities, and more entertainment zones, making it even more family-friendly.

Special Tribute Concerts Every Wednesday in April

To mark the final weeks of the season, Global Village has rolled out a series of tribute concerts. These themed shows bring iconic artists to life through energetic performances, offering visitors a memorable way to wrap up their season visit.

Here’s the remaining schedule of tribute nights:

  • April 16 – A musical tribute to Freddie Mercury, legendary lead singer of Queen
  • April 23 – A celebration of Taylor Swift, one of pop music’s biggest stars
  • April 30 – A tribute to Bon Jovi, rock icons known for hits like Livin’ on a Prayer

These concerts are included with the standard entry ticket and are held at the Main Stage, making them accessible for all guests.

Why Global Village Closes for Summer

As an outdoor attraction, Global Village closes during the UAE’s summer months due to high temperatures. The seasonal schedule helps ensure the safety and comfort of visitors and staff, while also allowing time for renovations and planning for the next season.

Global Village typically reopens in October each year, with new additions and surprises introduced with every edition. Season 30 is expected to follow this timeline, though official dates will be confirmed closer to the reopening.

Last Chance to Enjoy Family-Friendly Activities

With time running out, residents and tourists are encouraged to plan a visit before the May 11 closing date. Alongside the tribute shows, guests can enjoy:

  • The Carnaval amusement park zone with rides for all ages
  • Daily fireworks displays on weekends
  • Roaming performances and street entertainers
  • Cultural shows at pavilion stages

Families with young children can also take advantage of stroller rentals, shaded seating, and baby-changing stations, making the experience convenient and enjoyable.

Visiting Details and Practical Info

Global Village is located on the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Exit 37. It remains open daily until May 11, with different timings on weekdays and weekends.

Entry tickets are reasonably priced and can be purchased at the gate or online through the Global Village app. Visitors are advised to arrive early, especially on weekends, to make the most of their experience before the park closes for the season.

With its blend of cultural heritage, international cuisine, family attractions, and live entertainment, Global Village Dubai Season 29 has delivered yet another successful run. As the closing date approaches, the next few weeks offer the perfect opportunity to soak in the last of the season’s experiences.

Now is the time to explore, shop, and enjoy Dubai’s beloved attractions before its summer break and Season 30 return.
