Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2026 has unveiled a brand-new experience for luxury shoppers. Called DSS Luxe Edition, the month-long initiative brings together some of the world’s most recognised fashion, beauty, jewellery and lifestyle brands under one premium shopping campaign.

Running until August 30, the initiative moves beyond the traditional summer sale model by focusing on personalised services, exclusive collections and elevated in-store experiences.

According to the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), DSS Luxe Edition has been created to celebrate luxury shopping through craftsmanship, exclusivity and customer experiences rather than simply offering discounts.

What is DSS Luxe Edition?

Unlike regular retail promotions, DSS Luxe Edition is designed around curated experiences.

Instead of encouraging shoppers to simply buy more, participating brands are offering exclusive product launches, bespoke services, private consultations and loyalty rewards that make every purchase feel more personal.

The initiative brings together 12 luxury retailers across Dubai’s leading shopping destinations, including Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and selected standalone boutiques.

Three themes define the luxury experience

DFRE has built DSS Luxe Edition around three key pillars.

The first is Access & Exclusivity, giving shoppers access to limited-edition collections, exclusive product previews and premium in-store experiences.

The second pillar, Discovery & Showcase, focuses on celebrating craftsmanship through immersive activations and carefully curated collections that highlight each brand’s heritage.

Finally, Elevated Value & Loyalty rewards shoppers with personalised services, exclusive gifts, loyalty point bonuses and premium finishing touches that go beyond a traditional retail purchase.

Together, these experiences aim to make luxury shopping more meaningful while strengthening Dubai’s position as one of the world’s leading retail destinations.

Luxury brands are offering exclusive experiences

Several international luxury brands are taking part in the campaign with unique experiences available throughout August.

At Bloomingdale’s Dubai Mall, shoppers can discover exclusive product launches, enjoy complimentary tailoring through Fabram premium care services and earn 10x Amber points on fine jewellery purchases.

Harvey Nichols Dubai is showcasing its Whispering Breeze: High Summer 2026 collection alongside carefully selected pieces from Toteme, The Row and Dries Van Noten. Visitors can also book Personal Shopping Suites and style concierge services.

Beauty lovers can head to Areej at Mall of the Emirates, where exclusive skincare, fragrance and makeup collections are available alongside collectible gifts.

Meanwhile, luxury home retailer Aati is offering complimentary interior design consultations both in-store and through home visits, helping customers create personalised living spaces with expert guidance.

Personalisation takes centre stage

One of the biggest highlights of DSS Luxe Edition is its focus on customisation.

At dunhill Dubai Mall, customers receive complimentary engraving and embossing services with purchases, as well as free home delivery until August 31.

KWANPEN is offering complimentary initial embossing on luxury luggage tags, while Manolo Blahnik is adding hand-painted customised dust bags with qualifying purchases.

Fashion brand Palm Angels has introduced its exclusive Dubai Capsule Collection, inspired by Palm Jumeirah, while Marc Jacobs is showcasing its latest Scene Bag collection in multiple sizes and colourways.

Customers shopping at Zadig & Voltaire can also receive a complimentary 50ml fragrance with purchases worth AED2,500 or more.

Premium services beyond shopping

DSS Luxe Edition is also placing a strong focus on personalised customer service.

Visitors at Harvey Nichols can enjoy bespoke hair and beauty treatments at the Aveda Salon before relaxing at On Two Café.

At The White Company, customers can book one-on-one consultations with in-store specialists for personalised advice on bedding, sleep essentials and home fragrances. Purchases above AED1,000 also include complimentary fragrance gifts.

Luxury accessories brand Judith Leiber Couture is adding personalised Arabic calligraphy to branded candles with every purchase, creating customised keepsakes for shoppers.

These experiences reflect the campaign’s wider goal of making luxury retail feel more personal and memorable.

Why DSS Luxe Edition matters

Dubai has long been recognised as one of the world’s leading shopping destinations, and DSS Luxe Edition further strengthens that reputation.

For residents, it offers access to premium global brands and personalised services without travelling overseas.

For visitors, it adds another reason to experience Dubai during the summer, combining luxury shopping with exclusive experiences that go beyond traditional retail promotions.

The initiative also highlights how Dubai’s retail industry continues to evolve, placing greater emphasis on storytelling, craftsmanship and customer engagement rather than focusing solely on seasonal discounts.
