How to Apply for a Dubai Marine Driving License Online
Applicants can now apply through the Smart DMA App by following these steps:
- Download the Smart DMA App – Available on iOS and Android.
- Log in with UAE Pass – This ensures secure authentication.
- Complete Profile Setup – Provide necessary personal details.
- Submit Required Documents:
- Passport-sized photo with a white background
- Emirates ID (original and valid)
- Passport copy with a valid visa (for expatriates)
- Medical fitness certificate from a DMA-certified clinic
- Training completion certificate from an accredited DMA institute
- Take the Online Test – The theoretical test consists of multiple-choice questions based on the size of the vessel:
- 25 questions for boats up to 12 meters
- 50 questions for boats up to 24 meters
- Pass the Practical Test (For Commercial License) – Required for business-related vessel operations.
- Receive the Marine Driving License – Once approved, the digital license is issued via the Smart DMA App.
