Cristiano Ronaldo Celebrates Saudi Founding Day By Donning Their Traditional Attire

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated its national day on February 22nd, and superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated the founding day traditionally. The former Man Utd and Real Madrid footballer celebrated Saudi Arabia’s Founding Day with his Al Nassr teammates.

Ronaldo wore Arabic clothes, did the traditional Ardah dance and even tried his hands at the conventional Saudi sword. His new club Al Nassr shared videos and pictures of these cultural activities on their social media platforms. Celebrations took place on their home ground, and everyone from Al Nassr FC participated in this grand celebration.

Boasting more than 500 million followers, Ronaldo took to Instagram and shared his celebratory video with his online community. He captioned the video: “Happy founding day to Saudi Arabia ?? It Was a special experience to participate in the celebration at @alnassr_fc !”

From enjoying Arabic coffee to donning a traditional navy blue and gold-printed daglah, Ronaldo ensured to make the most of his time at the celebration. With the history and culture of more than three centuries, Saudi Arabia is all set to host the FIFA World Cup in 2023, and we cannot wait to see what all the kingdom has in store for FIFA in terms of events and fan zones.
