Eid Al Fitr is one of the biggest festivals celebrated in the UAE and residents enjoyed some quality time with their friends and families during the long weekend. While the city is shimmering in its festive best, the whole country is eager to know how the UAE Royals celebrated the festival. Well, the UAE royals are no exception when it comes to celebrating Eid with their family and we’ve got proof.

hH Sheikh Mohammed is a doting granddad & this video is proof

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, shared a series of heart-warming photos and a video on social media.

The photos show the Dubai Ruler surrounded by his grandchildren, clearly revealing that HH Sheikh Mohammed is a happy, doting granddad.

The photographs also feature Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.

That’s not all!  Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, also took to Instagram to wish his followers a happy Eid. The Dubai Royal shared an animated video on Friday, 21 April- marking the first day of Eid. The video features family photos of those closest to Sheikh Hamdan and uses the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, as its backdrop, highlighting the value of family members during Eid celebrations.

Before the family photos take over the screen, the video shows a hot air balloon with the Dubai logo and a flock of birds flying over Downtown Dubai. Each image features Sheikh Hamdan alongside other members of his family, including shots of his father, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.

Another image shows the crown prince and his twin daughters, Sheikh Rashid and Sheikha Shaikha, on the day of their birth.

The picture collection also features a picture of the Crown Prince sledding through the snow with his daughter during a recent family ski trip to Courchevel, France, and a picture of a Dubai royal taking his kids to see giraffes.

Less than an hour after it was posted, the video had more than 50,000 likes, garnering support from Sheikh Hamdan’s Instagram followers. The simple “Eid Mubarak” (which translates to “blessed Eid”) greeting marks the end of the video.

HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed says it’s a blessing to be able to spend holidays with family

Following HH Sheikh Mohammed, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, shared a family photo on his Instagram account on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr. The Presidents captioned the post:

“??It is a blessing to be able to spend holidays with family and loved ones. On the occasion of Eid Al Fitr I wish the people of the UAE and the world continued peace and happiness.”

Isn’t this super cute? The UAE Royals truly believe in family time and these pictures and videos are proof enough!
