Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace Hotel Changes Name After 18 Years

UAE is known for its luxurious hotels that scream opulence and grandeur, and one of them is Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The luxurious 5-star hotel on a pristine private beach is the epitome of extravagance in Abu Dhabi. And now, after 18 years, the iconic Emirates Palace hotel has rebranded as Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi.

Emirates Palace Hotel will now begin its new era as a part of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group portfolio. Besides the name, the beachfront resort gets renovated rooms, a brand-new spa, an innovative dining experience, sports facilities and more. Under Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the resort will now offer Middle East’s first vegan rooms with compassionate design, sustainable bedding, plant-based in-room dining options and cruelty-free bath amenities.

In terms of suites, the new suites offer priority access to the property’s facilities, and the guests can access 660sqm of living, dining and relaxing areas at the EP Club. From weddings to celebrating special occasions, the palace will offer all kinds of services in the most luxurious way. Furthermore, it also includes the city’s most noted hotels, Michelin-star dining, an award-winning spa and more.

The name change celebrates the hotel’s legacy while elevating the experiences for the guests. On this, James Riley, Emirates Palace Company Group Chief Executive, said: “Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi marks a milestone for our brand and confirms our commitment to the region. He added: “The palace is a globally recognised landmark in the UAE, and we are delighted to manage a property with such rich historical and cultural relevance.”
