We all know why the Bachchan family name is enough; it exudes star power in every inch. Abhishek Bachchan, the son of the legendary veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and actress Jaya Bachchan, is married to former Miss World and a very acclaimed actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. They have a lovely daughter together, Aaradhya, who is now 11 years old.
With so much fame in a house, one can only imagine the energy their home radiates. While nepotism and criticism of star kids are constant topics, Abhishek Bachchan acknowledges some privileges and discusses how his wife Aishwarya teaches their daughter to understand, learn from, and respect his family’s legacy.

In a recent podcast, Abhishek shared, “My surname is sacred to me. I am whatever I am today because of my surname, which was given to me by my grandfather. My father did a fantastic job of furthering that name and the dignity associated with it.”
Abhishek revealed that Aishwarya also plays a crucial role in inculcating the values and making his daughter Aaradhya understand the importance of the family name. He added, “I see my wife teach that to my daughter. We don’t want to put pressure on her, but she must be respectful of what her father, her dada ji, her pardada ji (her grandfather, great-grandfather) have done and achieved. She must respect that and never do anything to diminish it.”

While it’s uncertain whether Aaradhya will venture into the movies, one thing is certain: she is known to be one of the smartest kids in B-Town. Her interactions with the media and her public appearances reflect the familial values instilled in her.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in Ghoomer alongside Saiyami Kher. Directed by R. Balki, the movie is scheduled for release on August 18, 2023.
