The Kingdom Duathlon is back for 2024, and it’s shaping up to be the best yet! Organized by Race Arabia, this exciting event falls on Saudi National Day, celebrated on September 22 and 23. Held at the beautiful King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field in Riyadh, this is an event for all fitness levels—whether you’re an experienced athlete or just looking for a fun way to be active during the holiday.

What’s the Kingdom Duathlon All About?

The Kingdom Duathlon combines running and cycling into one exciting event. It’s a unique way to celebrate Saudi National Day while getting in a good workout. With various categories, from a fun run to more intense sprints, there’s something for everyone—no matter your fitness level or age.

Categories and Schedule

Day 1: September 22, 2024

  • 3 km Saudi National Day Fun Run: A light, fun run perfect for anyone looking to take part in the festivities while staying active.

Day 2: September 23, 2024

  • Singles Sprint Duathlon: A 5 km run, 20 km bike ride, and a 2.5 km run for those looking for a challenge.
  • Team Relay Sprint Duathlon: Grab a friend and tackle this event as a team. It features the same 5 km run, 20 km bike ride, and 2.5 km run as the singles, but with teamwork involved.

Kids Duathlon

  • Under 8: 500 m run, 1 km bike, 250 m run (Start Time: 7:00 AM)
  • Ages 8-10: 1 km run, 4 km bike, 500 m run (Start Time: 7:45 AM)
  • Ages 11-14: 2 km run, 8 km bike, 600 m run (Start Time: 8:45 AM)
