Activate Gaming Experience Brings New Energy to Dubai’s Entertainment Scene

This September, City Centre Mirdif is about to become home to something exciting and new – the region’s first-ever active gaming center, Activate. Partnering with Canadian company Activate Games, this new space combines physical activity with immersive gaming, creating a unique entertainment spot for both locals and tourists.

What Makes Activate Different?

Activate isn’t just another gaming zone. It’s a whole new concept that mixes the fun of gaming with physical exercise. With nine game rooms full of cutting-edge technology that reacts in real-time, players are pushed to challenge their minds and bodies. These rooms can hold groups of two to five people, making it perfect for friends, families, or even companies looking for team-building activities.

Fun for All Ages

Activate stands out because it’s made for everyone. Whether you’re six years old or older, you can find a game that’s right for your skill level. The games range from easy to tough, so there’s something for every player. Whether you want to work together or compete against others, the options make it even more thrilling.

Over 50 Games to Choose From

Activate offers more than 50 different games, so there’s always something new to try. One of the most popular games is Mega Grid, featuring 500+ lights that keep players on their toes. Other games like Hoops, Strike, Portals, Press, Hide, and Control combine tech and physical challenges to make sure no two visits are ever the same.

Compete on a Global Scale

If you like competition, Activate gives you the chance to see how you stack up against players around the world. A global scoreboard lets you track your scores and compare them with other players. Each Activate center has the same game rooms, so your scores are ranked globally. It’s a fun way to stay connected with the wider gaming community.

Growing Worldwide

Activate started in Winnipeg and now has over 30 locations across North America. The Dubai branch is the first in the MENA region, showing their goal to expand this unique experience globally. With plans to open 15 more locations in North America this year alone, Activate is on the rise.

How to Book and Pricing Details

Activate is open daily at City Centre Mirdif, and you can enjoy a 60-minute gaming session across nine interactive rooms for AED 95. Players must be at least six years old, and each room needs a minimum of two people. You can book your spot directly on the Activate website.

Activate is set to shake up Dubai’s entertainment world by mixing gaming with physical activity. It’s a perfect choice for family fun, a unique date, or even a team-building day with colleagues. Don’t miss out on this exciting new experience!
