And to commemorate World Environment Day, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in partnership with Careem, is offering free bike rides on June 10th, 2023. Read on for all the deets.

Free Bike Rides Can Be booked On Careem’s App On June 10th
RTA and Careem will offer free bike rides for customers at 186 docking stations across Dubai for unlimited trips. However, one thing you must keep in mind- the single trip duration shouldn’t exceed 45 minutes. The offer will only be valid on Saturday, June 10th. This initiative is just one step towards fulfilling the directives of the government to transform Dubai into a bicycle-friendly city. Besides, the free bike rides are also in line with RTA’s strategy and goals to assume a pioneering role under the sustainability framework by launching community initiatives in support of environmental issues.
When it comes to free bike rides, you can avail yourself of the free rides by using the Careem app. Select “BIKE” under the “GO” section on the home screen. From there choose the “One Day” pass and avail of a free ride using the code “FREE.” You will be required to enter the card details but won’t be charged.

Careem bikes encourage residents and tourists to use sustainable transport while having fun in the city. Launched in 2020- these bikes have displaced over 2.5 tons of CO2, the equivalent of 713 cars emitting CO2 throughout the year. If you enjoy cycling, then you should consider using Careem bikes. They are available at 186 stations across Dubai, including City Walk, Business Bay, Dubai Media City, Karama, Al Mankhool and Kite Beach.
