There’s no dearth of entertainment, things to do or places to see in Dubai. And now, we’ve discovered yet another fun spot in the of the city’s famous malls. Trust us, little did we know that one small door would open up into a world of mirrors and reflections! With six themed courts to boast, the Ibn Battuta Mall offers breathtaking scenery, but one of the prettiest jewels is tucked away in the center of the complex: ‘A Secret Mirror Chamber’. Heard of this yet?
Look for a bright sign that reads “Mirror Room” in India Court to locate one of the mall’s most visually striking sights. This will take you to a stunning infinity chamber with plenty of photo options, and best of all, admission is completely free.
Despite the mirror room’s seeming diminutive size, anything more than two or three people will be a terrible squeeze. But, once you’re in the vibrant colors will transport you to a new world. If you’ve never had the chance to visit one of Yayoi Kusama’s renown infinity rooms, you’ll get a taste of the famous style of the Japanese artist here. And, let’s face it- you’ll walk out with a selfie-filled camera roll…
Since the decorations inside the mirror room are known to occasionally vary, this is the perfect justification for returning. Currently, there are a variety of floating lightbulbs that enchant visitors’ senses.
The Ibn Battuta mirror chamber is open to the public without charge, so you won’t have to pay any money to take in this breathtaking sight. In the worst case situation, you might have to wait in a short line to take your pictures, but considering everything, that’s a tiny price to pay!
See you on the other side!
