The ‘Zayed, the benevolent’ specially focuses on two aspects- the importance of social responsibility, and to firmly establish the notion of goodness throughout society. The convoy will stop at government buildings, centers for the elderly and strong-willed individuals, labor camps, sporting events, and various residential neighborhoods across the nation.
Every year on the 19th of Ramadan, the Zayed Humanitarian Day commemorates the noble and well-established human values left behind by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Dr. Adel Al Shamri, CEO of the Zayed Giving Initiative, President of Emirates Giving, and President of Emirates Doctors, stated that the initiative aims to attract young people and enable them to provide the best health and educational services under a voluntary framework using mobile clinics and field hospitals.
He also stated that these convoys are a continuation of the Zayed Giving Initiative, which began in 2000. The initiative has reached millions of people all over the world with a message of love and giving. He emphasized that, under the direction of wise leadership, the act of giving has become a priority across levels and is not just an attribute in the United Arab Emirates.
