Remember the petite bakery at the Expo 2020? Well, in case you missed it (just like us), this is a good time to refresh your memory. The renowned Expo bakery, Bread Ahead now has a permanent address in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates. Brb- heading to MOE!
Indulge In All Things Sweet At Bread Ahead
The renowned London bakery Bread Ahead has finally opened a permanent location in Dubai at the Mall of the Emirates after announcing their arrival in January 2023 and leaving us daydreaming about delectable pastries (MOE).
The new store brings Bread Ahead’s renowned culinary treats to Dubai. Visitors may savor flavorful, classic foods made using Bread Ahead’s artisanal technique, including the bakery’s freshly baked banana cake, sourdough pizza, and doughnuts.
At Dubai Expo 2020, Bread Ahead’s Bakery School made its regional premiere. It was an immediate hit and drew many of visitors to its pop-up for educational baking sessions taught by professional bakers.
Back in 2013, Bread Ahead began as a food vendor at London’s Borough Market. The Bakery School was established in 2014 by its creator Matthew, who recognized a desire for recently made foods immediately. Here he started teaching cooking workshops and spreading his love of baking.
In Chelsea, Soho, and Wembley in London, Bread Ahead now operates bakeries and baking schools.
In 2021, the bakery launched in Dubai for the first time as part of Expo 2020. Bread Ahead Bakery and School, which offered classes in sourdough baking and doughnut manufacturing, was a big success.
In addition to offering its renowned doughnuts, you can also order a freshly baked pizza or enjoy coffee and a croissant. And if the previous success of the bakery is any indication, we anticipate that Bread Ahead in Dubai will sell like hotcakes.
