Starbucks launches new olive-oil infused coffee in dubai

Coffee lovers, listen up! There’s a new kind of coffee that’s making the rounds and this one’s something we’ve never tried or heard of. Ever tried coffee infused with oil? Well, its time to say hello to Starbuck’s new olive-oil infused coffee. Named Starbucks Oleato, the new series gets its name after the Mediterranean practice of consuming a spoonful of olive oil each day. The new series was introduced by the American coffee chain in Italy in February.

Dubai coffee-drinkers can try two new Oleato products which will be sold in 30 stores across the emirate. The first is a cold brew with cold foam infused with extra virgin olive oil, and the second is an iced, shaken espresso with oat milk infused with olive oil. The coffees are infused with premium extra virgin olive oil to create a smooth coffee with a new flavour and texture.

Meanwhile, have you tried Starbucks’ Special Summer Mango Drink yet?

The new Oleato series lands in the UAE after it garnered popularity among coffee lovers in Chicago, Seattle and New York in the USA, and selected stores across Japan, Paris (France) and London (United Kingdom) this year.

The two new oilveoil coffees are already on sale in Riyadh and will soon be available in Kuwait’s convenience stores. The coffees get their unexpectedly buttery texture from the olives that come from a variety known as Nocellara del Belice or Castelvetrano. These variations are distinguished by their buttery and lively notes.
