Salman Khan’s fan craze is legendary, but this latest incident takes die-hard fans to a whole new level. Three young boys from Delhi, aged just 9 to 13, decided that watching Salman Khan on screen wasn’t enough. Nope. They packed their bags and ran away from home to meet him in real life. Yes, you read that right. Tiny tots with big Bollywood dreams went on a full-blown filmy adventure and ended up in Nashik!
3 Delhi Kids Run Away To Meet Salman Khan
On July 25, 3 kids decided to escape home, find Salman Khan, and live their fanboy fantasy. The boys were classmates from a Delhi school in Sadar Bazar, and they had made online contact with a man named Wahid from Maharashtra. Wahid, a scammer, sold them a dream: “I can get you a meet-n-greet with Salman Bhai.” Plot twist: he lied.
The boys made their way to Jalna, thinking they were one step closer to Bollywood. Wahid, who had claimed to have met Salman once upon a time, chickened out the moment he realised the police were in the loop. So, he ghosted them.
The little trio then jumped off that plane and got down at a Nashik railway station, clearly not giving up on their mission. But, the police were already onto them.
Back in Delhi, the boys’ disappearance caused major panic. Parents were in tears, cops were on red alert, and CCTV footage from Ajmeri Gate showed the kids on their way to New Delhi Railway Station, looking way too chill for a runaway mission. One of them even left a handwritten note at home that mentioned Wahid.
Technology To The Rescue (As Always)
Delhi Police teamed up with the Railway and Maharashtra Police. With help from a brief mobile signal ping, they finally tracked the boys in Nashik, safe and sound, but probably grounded for life. Wahid, the shady digital “fixer,” is still missing, though.
We get it. Salman Khan’s charm is unreal. His fans go from next-level to out-of-this-galaxy. But when schoolkids are hopping trains to chase stars, it’s a wake-up call. Let’s channel that energy into a fan letter or a dance reel next time.
For now, we’re just relieved these kids are back home, safe, and hopefully off the “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” track for a while.
