Before I further delve into the song, let me tell you that all four songs have different meanings and tones. But, they’ll leave you wanting for more. From Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani to OMG 2.
Here are the four songs which released today i.e. on Tuesday and instantly made it to my playlist within minutes of listening to it.
Dilon Ki Doriyan – Bawaal
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are all high on energy in the song Dilon Ki Doriyan. It’s a peppy wedding dance number and it will definitely make you shake a leg. The chemistry between the two shines brighter than ever. It’s a refreshing song to add to your playlist. The video is equally appealing with an all-gold theme and shimmery sparkles.
The song is sung by Vishal Mishra, Zahrah S Khan and Romy. The movie Bawaal will release on Amazon Prime Video on July 21.
Ve Kamleya – Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani
Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani song Ve Kamleya are ready to make you feel the emotion of love like never before. Ve Kamleya reignites the feeling of being lost within oneself. The video of the song shows how beautifully the couple is ready to face any difficulties which come their way. Whether it be because of their family or a little brawl, they are ready to fight for love but not leave each other.
This love song is sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. The music is composed by Pritam. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will release in theatres on July 28.
Khairiyat – Gadar 2
This song from Gadar 2 is an ode to family. Sunny Deol travels on a bus roof to reach his son Charanjeet, played by Utkarsh Sharma, while Ameesha prays devotedly for the safety of her husband and son. The song also features joyful family moments from the previous part of Gadar 2. The reason for Charanjeet’s separation from his parents remains unknown, possibly forming the central plot of the movie. Utkarsh is shown reminiscing about his parents, and the song concludes with Sunny breaking down in tears at a grave. The heartfelt lyrics express the parents’ deep desire to protect their children and their constant prayers for their well-being.
The song is sung by Arijit Singh and Mithoon. Sayeed Quadri has written the lyrics. Gadar 2 is scheduled will release in theatres on 11 August 2023. The movie will be clashing with the Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2.
Oonchi Oonchi Waadi – OMG 2
OMG 2 stars Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva and Pankaj Tripathi as a devotee. The song Oonchi Oonchi Waadi will evoke a different sense of devotion within you. It’s dedicated to Lord Shiva. The video of the song also gives a gist into the story of the movie. Pankaj Tripathi’s son seems to be having a hard time at school and that’s when he prays to Lord Shiva. Being a devotee to the lord, he appears to solve the problems. It’s a very wholesome song and it will make you feel light-hearted after a heavy day.
Sung by Hansraj Raghuvanshi, the song is composed, directed and written by Aarush Arora. OMG 2 is set to hit theatres on August 11.
