Mother of the Nation Festival (MOTN) 2023 Dates Announced, Event To Start In December

UAE is home to tons of mega-events; however, one event that tops the list is the Mother Of The National Festival (MOTN). The event is a celebration of the legacy of our Mother of the Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak and takes place in Abu Dhabi. In 2022, MOTN welcomed more than 200,000 guests to enjoy live entertainment, culinary experiences, pop-up stores, endless activities and more on the Corniche. And now, this year’s Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Department of Culture and Tourism — Abu Dhabi (DCT) calendar announcement has announced the date for MOTN 2023. The festival will take place in December and here’s everything you must know.

For now, everything, including the event, theme and other specifics, is kept under wrap; however, the dates are here. The event will take place between December 24 to January 1, 2024. If things are similar to the last year, it will take place in the Corniche area and with an entry ticket for AED30.

Last year, we celebrated the 6th edition of MOTN, and 6-exciting zones allowed us to experience the best of world-class live entertainment, culinary experiences, pop-up stores, endless activities, live entertainment and more. And this year too, we can expect tons of fun themes and zones. And when we talk about events in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is set to make a comeback for its 32nd edition in May. The exhibition will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) between Monday, May 22 and Sunday, May 28.

And if you are planning to attend the exhibition with your kids, you must know that the event will also host a kid’s programme that includes writing, drawing and science experiments. Every year the fair focuses on a specific country and personality that lets the visitors experience and understand different literary cultures. This year the focus will be on Turkey and Arab sociologist, philosopher, and historian Ibn Khaldun.
