Dubai is home to several iconic attractions; however, one attraction that’s soon going to be a residential area- Expo City Dubai is one of the most visited attractions in the emirate. And if you love visiting Expo City over the weekend with your family and kids, the attraction has announced some updates. First and foremost, Expo City’s famous nightly projections in Al Wasl and water shows in Surreal will pause on June 1st and make a comeback in October to coincide with Dubai’s cooler temperatures. Expo City Announces New Timings For Garden The Sky And Other Pavilions
This decision is in place, in line with Expo City’s sustainability efforts to conserve water and energy. And while the water feature and projections will halt, the iconic attractions will remain open throughout. Besides this, from June 15 to September 15, Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion, Alif – The Mobility Pavilion, the Vision and Women’s Pavilions and the three Stories of Nations exhibitions will open late than their regular timing. The new timings will be Noon to 8 PM, and Garden the Sky and children’s playgrounds will be open from 6 PM to 10 PM.
Besides this, summer camps for kids aged 5 to 11 years will return from July 10th to August 18th and have more fun-filled adventures including- ‘Terranauts: Survivor Skills’ comic book creation and water fun, and hands-on activities across themes spanning sports, robotics, creativity, art, health and wellness. The camps will run Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 2:30 PM.

When it comes to restaurants and eateries, the outlets will remain open with more homegrown and international options coming soon to complement fast food favourite AlBaik, ECCO pizza and pasta, Grand Beirut for traditional Lebanese fare, smokehouse and barbecue at Mattar Farm, WOFL’s sweet and savoury waffles, and a variety of treats at The Daily, part of Rove Expo 2020.
