Dubai is set to see a major boost in its electric vehicle infrastructure. Parkin Company PJSC has entered a 10-year agreement with charge&go by e&, which will see 200 ultra-fast direct current (DC) charging stations installed across the city by late 2025.
This initiative strengthens Dubai’s role as a forward-thinking hub for clean mobility, serving residents and professionals who increasingly adopt EVs in their daily lives.

First Phase Rollout in October 2025
The project will begin in October 2025 with the installation of 20 ultra-fast chargers in key locations, including residential districts, busy commercial areas, and retail destinations. These are expected to be fully operational by the end of the year.
Once complete, the wider rollout will expand the network to 200 charging points over 12 months. Dubai advances its long-term vision for sustainable transport through this large-scale deployment, supporting the emirate’s urban development strategy.
Ultra-Fast Chargers Make a Difference
Unlike traditional AC chargers, which can take several hours, the new DC charging technology promises a charging time of under 30 minutes. This added convenience encourages more drivers—especially commuters and business users—to switch to electric vehicles.
Parkin’s mobile app connects drivers to chargers, enabling them to reserve spots, track real-time availability, and pay securely through digital channels. The system also enforces a “park and charge” model to keep spaces efficient and accessible for active charging.
Supporting Dubai’s Sustainability Goals
The introduction of 200 ultra-fast EV charging stations will not only provide convenience for motorists but also strengthen Dubai’s commitment to cleaner and more efficient urban mobility. With the emirate already hosting more than 40,000 electric vehicles on its roads, the new infrastructure is expected to significantly ease access to reliable charging options.
Parkin’s extensive parking network—managing more than 200,000 paid spaces—offers the scale needed to deliver these services effectively. The partnership with e& ensures that digital expertise is also brought to the table, making the system smarter, user-friendly, and capable of supporting Dubai’s rapid urban growth.
Expectations
For Dubai’s residents and professionals, the benefits are clear:
- Quick charging cycles – topping up an EV in less than half an hour makes it easier to plan commutes, errands and leisure trips.
- Smart integration – the ability to reserve and monitor chargers through the app helps reduce waiting times.
- Reliable availability – the park-and-charge policy ensures bays are used responsibly, avoiding unnecessary occupation of spaces.
- Eco-friendly lifestyle – switching to EVs becomes more practical, supporting both individual and city-wide sustainability goals.
Voices Behind the Initiative

Parkin’s leadership has highlighted how this collaboration reflects the company’s vision of blending infrastructure with advanced technology to serve the public better. The partnership, they explained, is not only about offering charging points but also about building a seamless experience that fits into the daily routines of EV owners.
e& Executives also underlined the role of digital solutions in transforming transportation. By combining cutting-edge charging technology with smart connectivity, they noted that Dubai is setting a benchmark for urban centres worldwide that are transitioning to greener transport systems.
Driving the Future of Mobility in Dubai
The upcoming charging stations are more than a technical upgrade. They represent a cultural and lifestyle shift, where driving an EV in Dubai is no longer just about environmental responsibility but also about convenience and innovation.
As the rollout begins this October, residents can look forward to a future where finding an ultra-fast charger is as common as finding a petrol station. This project stands as another step toward Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s most sustainable and connected cities.
The Parkin–e& partnership marks a turning point for Dubai’s EV ecosystem. With 200 ultra-fast charging stations set to be operational by 2025, residents and visitors alike can expect smoother journeys, quicker charging, and a smarter driving experience.
