Fancy a luxury train ride in the UAE? If yes, your wishes got answered as UAE is all set to get an Orient Express-style luxury train connecting Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah and Oman. UAE’s railway operator, Etihad Rail, has signed a deal with Italian luxury hospitality company Arsenale to launch a luxury train that pays tribute to Emirati culture and heritage. The launch date for the service isn’t revealed; however, it is expected to be called “Rail Cruise”, and here’s everything you must know.

The Rail Cruise Will Have 15 Fully Automated Lavish Carriages
The rail cruise will travel across the UAE towards the border with Oman and pass through Mezeira’a along the Liwa Desert and its famous oasis. The train will let you experience the ultimate luxury and have 15 lavish carriages and is getting ready in Puglia and Sicily. More details about the train, design and offerings will be out soon, but Arsenale said the 15 luxurious carriages would be in line with Emirati Heritage. From the production and craftsmanship to interior design and on-board services, everything will be top-notch.
It will be Arsenale’s second international luxury train project, after ‘The Dream of the Desert’ project in Saudi Arabia. The deal was signed in the presence of Lorenzo Fanara, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE. Speaking about this deal and the railway network, Shadi Malak, CEO of Etihad Rail, said, “Our collaboration with Arsenale is a testament to Etihad Rail’s commitment to drive economic and social growth in the UAE through the National Rail Network. By establishing a luxury train experience, we are introducing a unique world-class offering to the region and contributing to boosting the tourism sector in the UAE. Furthermore, we will be able to showcase the country’s diverse heritage and beauty to visitors from around the world.”

The train will pass through the cities of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Fujairah right on the border with Oman, and we cannot wait to get all the details for the same.
