Dubai RTA Opens New, Smart Customer Service Centres With Zero Human Intervention

Have you ever thought what it would be like to enter a customer centre devoid of human beings? Well, if you haven’t, get ready for the new reality. Dubai RTA has achieved yet another milestone by setting up ‘smart’ customer happiness centres that provide services with zero human intervention.

The smart centres are now open in Al Manara & Al Kifaf

The two new centres in Al Manara and Al ?Kifaf deliver customer services using smart devices. These centres will offer services like vehicle and driver licensing and parking. The Kifaf centre will offer services 24/7.

The Manara Center includes smart kiosks, the website, smart applications, service advisor and video chat. Which the center will complete from 23 thousand transactions in 2022, to 45 thousand transactions by the end of the current year 2023.

“The conversion of the customer happiness centres in Al Manara and Al Kifaf ?into smart ones is part of the RTA’s plan to evolve these centres into fully ?smart and hybrid centres,” said Mattar Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of the Board of ?Executive Directors of the RTA.

The RTA plans to transform six customer care centres into smart ones by 2025. The plan will include the transformation of the Al Twar customer happiness centre ?into a smart one in the first half of this year, followed by Umm Ramool in ??2024. Additionally, Deira and Al Barsha customer happiness centres are also scheduled ?for migrating to hybrid ones in 2025.

Furthermore, the RTA also added that the smart centres increased the number of services offered from 72 to 239, while boosting operational efficiency. It is also anticipated that the number ?of transactions processed by the centre will rise from 23,000 in 2022 to ??45,000 by the end of this year.
