Dubai Police has some of the most luxurious supercars added to its fleet. Some of them include- Lamborghini Urus, Hongqi E-HS, Aston Martin Vantage, Audi R8 and Bugatti Veyron. And now one more car has been added to the fleet. Dubai Police, at the Arabian Travel Market, added an electric sports car to their luxury fleet. The Audi RS e-tron GT is a new addition to the fleet, and here’s everything you must know about it.

The Audi Rs E-Tron GT Will Be Used To Patrol Popular Tourist Destinations In Dubai
The Audi RS e-tron GT was unvieled to the public for the first time on the opening day of Arabian Travel Market conference. The electric sports car will be used to patrol popular tourist destinations across Dubai. The supercar has a top speed of 249kph and can attain the speed of 96.5kph in 4.3 seconds from a standing start. Being one-of-its-kind car, it costs AED404,000, and you have never seen something like on the streets of Dubai uptill now. The battery charge time from 5 per cent to 80 per cent is 22.5 minutes.
Furthermore, while patroling, you will spot the car with a special message on its number plate. It will promote and talk about the Cop 28 climate event taking place in Dubai in the second half of 2023. Electric cars are great for the environment, and this is not the first electric car that Dubai Police have added to their fleet. Last year, force took delivery of a Hongqi E-HS9 SUV, which again is an electric vehicle.
This Is Dubai Police’s Second Full Electric Vehicle
Speaking about the vehicle, Brigadier Khalafan Obaid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, explained that the Audi RS e-tron GT is their fleet’s second fully electric, environmentally friendly vehicle.

He emphasised that Dubai Police’s luxury security patrols enhance the security presence in tourist areas during events and community initiatives and play a crucial role in providing services to tourists and the general public, answering their inquiries, providing information, and ensuring their safety throughout their stay in Dubai.
When it comes to supercars, Dubai Police has some of the best cars in their fleet, and it’s common for people to spot them on the streets of Dubai. Now, speaking about Cop 28- the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference will take place at Expo City Dubai from November 30 to December 12.
