In a strategic move to combat surging traffic levels in the city, the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has officially announced the development of a groundbreaking addition to the metro system— the Dubai Metro Blue Line. Confirmed by Sheikh Mohammed in November, this new line is set to be a game-changer for Dubai’s public transportation network.
30 KM expansion
Stretching an impressive 30 kilometers, with 15.5km running underground and 14.5km above ground, the Dubai Metro Blue Line is poised to redefine connectivity in the city. The line is expected to boast 14 stations, with five strategically positioned underground, offering enhanced accessibility to commuters.
