Dubai Expo city mall to open in 2024; here’s what we know so far

Expo 2020 Dubai might be over, but the fun doesn’t seem to end anytime soon. For starters, some of our favourite expo food trucks made a comeback in the city. And now, a huge mall is set to open close to the Expo site in Dubai. Yes, as per the latest updates, Emaar will open a mall close to the Expo 2020 Dubai site in 2024. Here’s what we know so far about this new mall in the city.

Emaar’s Expo City mall is set to have over 190 shops and F&B outlets. The mall will be based in the Emaar South project, which means it will be docked close to Al Maktoum International Airport. The mall will span an area of 385,000 sq feet. Well, while this is much smaller in comparison to the Dubai Hills Mall which covers 1.8 million sq ft and the Dubai Mall, spread across 4.2 million gross area, the new mall is set to attract visitors especially for its prime location.

Besides, the mall will be located just a few minutes away from the Expo 2020 Metro Station. In addition, it will also be easily accessible from Expo Road, Jebel Ali Road, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.

Well, while we’re eagerly waiting for the mall to open doors to the public, we’ve got a lot of other reasons for you to head to Expo City this Ramadan.
