Dine in a glass bubble with stunning views of dubai’s bluewaters island

Who said enjoying a meal outside in the summer in Dubai is merely a mirage? The Pods, a new restaurant on Bluewaters Island, dispels this myth with its bubble-like private eating capsules. The gorgeous capsules are tucked away in a serene botanical park, offering diners the luxury of outdoors, even in summer.

The 22 pods boast luxurious interiors which will pamper residents with high-end VIP treatment. You can look forward to relaxing in your own little bubble while sinking into plush velvet sofas, listening to your favorite music on a Bluetooth speaker system, while a dedicated service staff caters to you.

The venue has a total seating capacity of 168 people and each pod comfortably accommodates six people; VIP pods have eight seats, while the party pod has fourteen.

It’s safe to say that The Pods are all about the social pleasures of dining in a group environment, so gather your crew before visiting.

There is a main interior restaurant and bar space as well, which can accommodate up to 30 people and serves people who are just stopping by for a drink or dessert. It’s similarly eye-catching; picture canopies of drooping foliage and carefully positioned terrariums.

With its picture-perfect decor and views, the location has already been blowing up on Instagram feeds across the nation. Since its opening, it has also been attracting the attention of foodies in the area with an equally instagrammable cuisine that takes its Pan-Asian concept seriously.

Foodies can binge on Thai favorites like pad Thai and green curries, dim sums, a variety of Japanese sushi, nigri, and maki, Indonesian bakmi goreng, and Korean chicken bao.

These transparent globes are sure to be at the top of Dubai’s glitterati’s wish lists for formal birthday dinners, sophisticated anniversary soirees, and everything in between – thanks to the ambience, the food and the breathtaking views of JBR Beach.

Lastly, parents reading this article should breathe a sigh of relief because The Pods are kid-friendly despite their upscale fine-dining atmosphere!

So, when are you going?
