Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol recently tied the knot with his wife Drisha Acharya on June 18. Fans and netizens were left puzzled to see Dharmendra’s second wife Hema Malini didn’t attend the wedding. Neither his daughters Esha Deol nor Ahana Deol were present at the wedding. Speculations are that Dharmendra felt bad about not being able to invite them personally.
The veteran actor took to his Instagram to share a photo with daughter Esha. In the photo, Dharamji is sitting with his Esha with their hands tightly together, showing their bond. Both of them are all smiles and happy as the father looks super proud of his daughter. His caption read, “Esha , Ahana , Hema and all my darling kids ……loving Takhtani’s and Vohra’s l love you and respect you all from the core of my heart……age and illness is telling upon me I could have spoken personally to to you ……..but.”
Later Esha Deol took to her Instagram to respond to her father’s message. She shared her wedding photo which is a lovely family portrait of her wedding day with her parents and husband Bharat Takhtani. Reassuring her father she wrote, “Love you papa . You are the best. Love you unconditionally & you know that. Cheer up & always be happy & healthy. Love u.”
About Dharmendra’s Family
Even before Dharmendra made his Bollywood debut he was married to Prakash Kaur in 1953. Yet, as fate wove, the actor’s path intertwined with actress, Hema Malini. As they starred in some of the most hit movies of that time in Bollywood, the two fell in love. They tied the knot in the year 1980. Dharmendra and Hema appeared in films like The Burning Train, Sholay, Raja Jani, Baghavat, Dharm Aur Qanoon and Do Dishayen.
Dharmendra’s first marriage was to Prakash Kaur, with whom he has sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, as well as daughters Ajieta and Vijeta. His second marriage is with Hema Malini, and they have daughters Esha and Ahana. The entire Deol family graced Karan’s ceremonies, although Hema and her daughters were not in attendance.

The actor will next be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
The movie will hit theatres on July 28, 2023. Furthermore, he also has Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s yet-to-be-titled movie.
