5 Uber Cool Projects To Launch In UAE In 2023

The year of 2023 is going to be special for the UAE in multiple ways. From announcing the residential plan for EXPO2020 to the opening of ultra luxurious Atlantis The Royal Hotel, there are tons of things planned. And here are five uber cool projects that are set to launch in UAE in 2023.

  1. Ciel Dubai: Upon completion, this hotel will be known as the world’s tallest hotel. With a remarkable height of 365 metres, Ciel in Dubai Marina is scheduled to complete in the fourth quarter of 2023. Designed by award-winning London-based architect NORR, it will offer incredible 360-degree vistas across Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf. It will boast a rooftop glass observation deck amongst other opulent amenities.

2. Abrahamic Family House, Abu Dhabi: Abrahamic Family House on Saadiyat Island launched just a week ago for its worshippers and visitors. Encompassing a mosque, a church, and a synagogue, Abrahamic Family House aims to represent and preserve three Abrahamic regilsions- Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Each of the three houses of worship and discover the principles of each Abrahamic faith. Entrance to the Abrahamic Family House is free, but you must book your slot in advance on their website.

3. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi: The first SeaWorld outside North America will open in Abu Dhabi on Yas Island in 2023. Spanning about 183,000 square metres, it will be home to more than 150 species of marine animals, including sharks, schools of fish, manta rays, sea turtles, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, in addition to hundreds of birds- including penguins, puffins, murres, flamingos and more. Furthermore, it will also be home to UAE’s first dedicated marine research, rescue, rehabilitation and return centre. Built on five indoor levels, the marine-life theme park is in the final stages of construction completion, and we can’t wait for it to open.

4. Sharjah Forest District: The whopping AED8 million project featuring a vast forested community and other leisure attractions is finally coming together. It will boast over 4,000 villas, and town houses split into eight gate districts with 50,000 trees across 19 million square feet. The first part of the project- an experience centre will open in June. From 13-kilometer cycling track to outdoor Amphiteare and more- you can expect a lot here. In terms of housing, the first homes are expected to be handed over in the first quarter of 2023.

5. Hatta Project: A new phase of the Hatta development project will introduce many new projects and initiatives. Cable cars, waterfalls and all-season beaches and more, there’s a lot that one can expect. The phase II includes a total of 22 projects and initiatives. In phase 1, the Hatta Development Project has completed 14 projects so far. For phase two, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has approved the plan, and we can’t wait for all these attractions to open soon.
