You can apply & renew documents in one touch
UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Port Security announced the launch of ‘One Touch’, in order to make the process easier. The One Touch Golden Visa service will make the application of visa, issuance of other visas, regularisation of status, and the issuance of residency and identity easier. Besides, it will also help in renewing all these documents in just one step.
In case you meet all the necessary terms and conditions for the Golden Visa, you can get the visa in just one touch on the ICP website. ICP made the announcement of the new service on their official Instagram channel and also urged those eligible to apply for the Golden Visa either via the website or the smart application UAEICP.
UAE’s Golden Visa allows foreign talents to live and work in the country while providing them with a whole lot of other benefits. These include:
1. Not needing a sponsor
2. The ability to stay outside the UAE for more than six months in order to keep their residence visa valid
3. The ability to sponsor their family members – including spouses and children, regardless of their ages
Recently, authorities dropped the minimum salary for getting the coveted Golden Visa from AED 50,000 to AED 30,000. Skilled professionals in medicine, sciences and engineering, information technology, business and administration, education, law, culture and social sciences are eligible to apply for the visa.
Besides, in order to lure talent from the UAE and around the world, the country plans to issue 100,000 golden visas to the world’s best programmers. UAE aims to become a world leader in technology, and for the same, the nation is inviting tech geeks to the country. Aiming to become a global leader in artificial intelligence by 2031, the country is looking to double the digital economy contribution to the GDP to 19.4 per cent within a decade. Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is committed to achieving this goal and furthermore aims to establish Dubai as the pioneer for software development and artificial intelligence. Hence the UAE is planning to provide 100,000 golden visas to top tech talents.
