Uber wants you to have your belongings back, and for the same, in the report, the company also shared steps and ways on how a passenger can retrieve the lost items through the phone or the Uber app. As per the company, the best way to get back the lost time is to call the driver. However, if the lost item is your phone, here are some steps you can follow.

Open the app, tap on your trips, select the trip where you left something, scroll down and tap ”Find Lost Item.” Then, tap “Contact driver about a lost item,” scroll down, enter the number you would like to be contacted and tap submit. Once done, your driver will get in touch with you, and if your lost item has been found by the driver, you can decide the place and time and collect it.

If the driver doesn’t pick up, leave a detailed voicemail; describe your item and the best way to contact you. And if, for some reason, you are unable to sign into the app; you can connect to the team via webchat.
