Three New Fairmont Hotels Set to Open in Saudi Arabia by 2028

Saudi Arabia is set to welcome three new luxurious Fairmont hotels, with openings scheduled in 2025, 2027, and 2028. Located in Khobar, Madinah, and the Red Sea, the properties will elevate Saudi Arabia’s luxury hospitality with modern amenities and scenic surroundings.

Fairmont The Red Sea: A New Coastal Haven

Fairmont The Red Sea, one of the most highly anticipated additions, is set to open in 2025. Set along 200 km of coastline, the hotel offers 193 rooms and six dining options, including an overwater restaurant with Red Sea views.

Designed to set a new standard in sustainable development, the resort will be adjacent to an 18-hole championship golf course, reinforcing Fairmont’s commitment to luxury golfing destinations. Guests can also look forward to a range of family-friendly amenities, including a teens centre, kids’ clubs, and a spa. Surrounded by islands, volcanoes, and marine life, the hotel is a prime spot for nature and luxury seekers.

Fairmont Ajdan Al Khobar: Urban Luxury on the Waterfront

Slated to open in 2027, Fairmont Ajdan Al Khobar will offer an urban luxury experience in the heart of Al Khobar’s bustling centre. The hotel will feature 160 rooms and serviced apartments, along with four dining outlets that cater to a wide array of culinary preferences.

The property sits strategically within the vibrant Ajdan Waterfront development, surrounded by retail and entertainment attractions. Additional facilities include a Fairmont Spa, fitness centre, and executive meeting rooms, positioning the hotel as an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Fairmont Rua Madinah: A Spiritual Retreat

Rounding out the trio of new openings is Fairmont Rua Madinah, set to debut in 2028. Situated near the Prophet’s Mosque, this hotel will offer 143 spacious rooms and suites, along with 120 branded residences. The property’s amenities include a kids’ club, fitness centre, spa, and multiple dining venues, ensuring a luxurious and comfortable stay.

This addition strengthens Fairmont’s presence in Saudi Arabia’s religious tourism, supporting its commitment to refined hospitality in pilgrimage sites.
