On February 19, the court will hear a PIL filed by the Supreme Court & High Court Litigants Association of India, led by its president, Rashid Khan Pathan. The demand? A full-fledged probe into the deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager, Disha Salian and an immediate custodial interrogation of Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aditya Thackeray.
The petition also urges the CBI to present a detailed investigation report, which is something SSR fans have been demanding for years now!
Aditya Thackeray’s Legal Move – Damage Control or Justified Step?
Thackeray is not staying silent. He has filed an intervention application, requesting that the court hear his side before passing any orders. His argument? That the case is already being handled by authorities, making the PIL unnecessary.
Meanwhile, fans of Sushant Singh Rajput are standing their ground, believing that justice is still a distant dream. Is this a legal chess match, or will this finally bring closure? Only time will tell!
Sushant Singh Rajput & Disha Salian’s Deaths – A Case That Never Rested
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020. Initially, Mumbai Police chalked it up as an accidental death, but the internet wasn’t convinced. SSR’s father filed an FIR, accusing Rhea Chakraborty and her family of abetment to suicide, which led to the case being handed over to the CBI.
If that wasn’t enough, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) jumped in with money laundering allegations, and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) started digging into Bollywood’s drug scene – making it one of the most sensational cases India had ever seen!
Adding to the mystery was Disha Salian, SSR’s former manager, who died just six days before him after allegedly falling from a 14th-floor apartment in Malad. The Malwani police classified it as an accidental death, but conspiracy theories have been flying ever since.
