Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up to grace the world of OTT with her mesmerizing acting skills. Having already stunned the big screen with her exceptional talent, the actress is now headed to make her OTT debut in Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘Dahaad’. Lo and behold, this time around she’s donning the role of a bold and intrepid cop, showcasing an unprecedented side of her persona.
Prime Video has teased the viewers with a sneak peek into their highly anticipated web series, ‘Dahaad’. This gripping crime drama spans eight riveting episodes, tracing the journey of sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati (portrayed by the talented Sonakshi Sinha) and her team of diligent colleagues stationed in a sleepy small town. The series kicks off with a perplexing mystery that sends shockwaves throughout the town: a spate of women are discovered dead in public restrooms. Naturally, it falls on sub-Inspector Anjali Bhaati to unravel the complex web of clues and uncover the truth behind the chilling murders.
The teaser delves deeper into the case, unravelling a sinister plot involving the brutal murders of 27 women – all of whom were killed without any witnesses or complaints. As the townsfolk cower in fear, a brave woman steps forward to champion their cause and seek justice. The teaser also offers a fleeting glimpse of Vijay Varma, who is rumoured to play the formidable antagonist in the series. Fans can barely contain their excitement as they eagerly await the full trailer, set to release on May 3.
