In a celebration uniting art, culture, and innovation, the 13th edition of the Sharjah Light Festival (SLF) is set to illuminate the night sky from February 7 to 18. The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) has organized this captivating event, promising an enchanting display crafted by artists from around the globe.
A Symphony of Lights Across Sharjah
Prepare to be captivated by over 15 extraordinary light shows unfolding over 12 days, casting a magical glow on 12 iconic locations across Sharjah. The shows will run from 6 PM to 11 PM, with extended hours until midnight on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, ensuring ample time for everyone to savor the dazzling displays.

New Entrants and Iconic Landmarks
This year, the festival welcomes three new locations: the General Directorate of Sharjah Police, the General Souq—Al Hamriyah, and Kalba Waterfront. These join the lineup of familiar landmarks, including Khalid Lagoon, Al Majaz Waterfront, BEEAH Group Headquarters, Al Dhaid Fort, Sharjah Mosque, Sheikh Rashid Al Qasimi Mosque, Al Noor Mosque, and Al Rafisah Dam.
Light Village: A Hub of Creativity
Starting on February 1, the Light Village, located in front of the University City Hall building in Sharjah, promises to be a hub of creativity. More than 55 small and medium-sized national projects will be on display, adding an extra layer of innovation to the festivities.
A Blend of History and Technology
Utilizing state-of-the-art, energy-efficient lighting technologies, the Sharjah Light Festival aims to transform the facades of these iconic landmarks into vibrant canvases. The interplay of light and music will create dynamic visual stories, weaving together the past, present, and future aspirations of Sharjah.

Last year, the Sharjah Light Festival drew a massive crowd of nearly 1.3 million visitors, including 184,000 visits to the Light Village. This year, the festival promises to continue its legacy, symbolizing peace, tolerance, and diversity. Through the universal language of light, Sharjah aims to unite different cultures and civilizations, creating an experience that delights the eye and soothes the soul.
